He is a 7 year old dog sitting in the lobby of the hospital.
His master was admitted in the hospital due to COVID-19.
His master was not able to live through it.
His master died 5 days after he was admitted in the hospital.
He was waiting there for his owner to get well soon and go back home with him.
He just wanted some snuggle and kisses from his master but now, he won’t be able to anymore.
He was sitting there when some of the hospital staff came and fed him.
They fed him everyday and on time.
Once the lockdown was lifted a shopkeeper started taking care of him.
The shopkeeper named him ‘Xiao Bao’.
He was taken to another location but it did not make sense to him.
He just wanted to be near his master so he went back to the hospital.
Some patients in the hospital started complaining about him and so he was treated in the Wuhan Small Animal Protection Association.
The hospital staff is sad because they had to let go off the dog.
He stayed there for 3 months without moving even a bit before being transferred to the association.
There was no way of telling him that his master has passed away and won’t be back to snuggle him and give him kisses.
