The police was suspicious that they must’ve done something really wrong with the child.
They started investigating and found a distant relative who was childless and the links started connecting.
With the help of an NGO, the police recovered the baby from her relatives.
The baby had to stay in the hospital for 3-4 days before being sent to a state-run home for children.
When the police went back to the house of her parents, they weren’t there.
It was clear that they ran away.
They sold their baby girl for Rupees 3,000.
Her mother’s name is Tapasi Dhara and her father’s name was Bapan.
She was just 2 and s half month old.
