When the people read the newspapers and the news online, a particular story got them terrified.
The photograph was just so weird that people were literally aghast.
The news was of a dead body wrapped in a blue sheet in a rickshaw.
The head and legs of the dead body were hanging outside the rickshaw and the sight of it was heart breaking.
The rickshaw driver and another person were both not wearing PPE kits which was even more troublesome.
There were 4 cases of COVID-19 in Nizamabad’s government hospital out of which 3 victims passed away.
The hospital had 2 ambulances that would carry the dead bodies of COVID-19 patient for their last ride and rites.
The family of the deceased were creating chaos and were not ready to wait for one of the two ambulances to take his dead body.
The family was devastated but was clearly not adjusting with the hospital.
They blamed his death on the hospital alleging that their beloved died due to shortage of oxygen.
The hospital says that the oxygen supply was centralised and there was no shortage at all.
When the kin left the boundaries far behind, the hospital allowed the dead body of the patient to be taken in a rickshaw to the graveyard.
They placed the body horizontally in the rear seat of the rickshaw and the body was projecting out of the vehicle while it passed through the streets of Nizamabad.
The District Collector has ordered an inquiry into the incident and terminated the services of the municipal employee who took the dead body to the graveyard in an auto rickshaw.
When the people read this story, the people were left speechless and it gave them goosebumps.
This story had them in tears and it sent chills down their spines.
