A store of helping and kindness : Corona Chronicle #141

A board outside their store says ” The 1950’s Club from 8 am to 8:30 am “.

The sign was such a happy news for some elderly people in the neighborhood and they immediately started making use of it.

The basic thing is that the people who are born before the 1950’s have a special slot where they can come and purchase their grocery.

This facility was started because the owner saw some elderly people get uncomfortable because the store got a little clumsy and they were fearing the attack of the virus.

The pandemic has made them alert about their own health so they try to take precautions.

When he saw it, he wanted to something about it and so they came up with this plan.

He felt that it will give them a little peace of mind.

They sanitise the handle and the surface of the floor each day before they open the store at 8 am.

The first trial day, almost 12 elderly people showed up and the store has decided to continue with the facility and earn blessing of the elderly.

They dont turn away a customer during that time but instead of letting them in, they serve it through the door.

The name of the shop is Constatine Bay Stores and the owners name is Mr. Keeble.

A store of helping and kindness.
