Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 3), Pournima Gaikwad, has issued a directive for the expulsion of the infamous criminal figure, Sharad Mohol (38), from Pune city’s limits for a duration of six months.
Mohol’s Criminal History:
Residing in Maulinagar within the Sutardara vicinity of Kothrud, Sharad Mohol has a history rife with severe criminal offenses, spanning across the regions of Pune city, Pimpri, and rural areas.
Mohol and his cohorts were involved in a lethal gang altercation that led to the killing of an individual named Pintu. The court imposed a life imprisonment sentence upon Mohol for his participation in this case.
Temporary Bail and Subsequent Infractions:
While Mohol had been granted temporary bail by the Bombay High Court in the previous year, he and his associates continued to spread terror in the vicinity after their release from incarceration.
Exclusion Proposal Initiated:
In response to these concerns, Senior Police Inspector Mahendra Jagtap, overseeing the Kothrud police station, submitted a formal proposal to Deputy Commissioner Pournima Gaikwad.
This proposal sought the temporary expulsion of Sharad Mohol for a span of six months.
