Pune Gangland: Crackdown on ‘Bullet Raja’ Gang: Four Arrested, Stolen Heavy Bikes Seized

In a significant operation, Pune city police have successfully apprehended four members of the notorious inter-state ‘Bullet Raja’ gang hailing from Buldhana district. This criminal faction specialized in the theft of high-powered motorcycles from Pune and other regions. The recent raid has led to the recovery of four stolen motorcycles from the possession of the gang members.

Profiles of the Apprehended

The arrested individuals have been identified as Rameshwar Suryabhan Wagh (20), Shubham Sunil Doifode (22), Akash Santosh Kakad (20), and Harshad Bhagwan Gangtire (32).

All four suspects are residents of Sindhkhedraja in Buldhana district.

Police Operation Unveils Key Leads

A press release by the police details the sequence of events leading to the arrests. A dedicated team led by senior inspector Rajendra Landge initially apprehended Wagh and Doifode in connection with an ongoing vehicle theft case registered at the Faraskhana police station.

Subsequent investigations prompted another team to journey to Buldhana, where Kakad and Gangtire were successfully apprehended.

Bike Theft Network Busted

The recovered haul includes four heavy motorcycles, along with an additional regular motorcycle. Authorities have unveiled that the criminal group operating under the moniker “Bullet Raja” has been actively involved in pilfering motorcycles from various districts across Maharashtra, encompassing Pune, Aurangabad, Akola, and Beed.

Ongoing investigations are aimed at delving deeper into the operations and connections of this criminal network.
