She was drinking an ice cold beer.

It was something she loved but hadn’t had in a very long time.

One day when she was laying on her bed, she started feeling a little uncomfortable.

She went to a nursing home called, Life Care Centre of Wilbraham.

She was being tested for the coronavirus.

When the results came in, it was positive but her spirit was still high and brightened the room as though she was the only light.

As her condition worsened, her grand daughter, Shelly called her.

She thought it would be their last goodbye.

She thanked her grandmother for everything she always did and sacrificed for the family.

When she was asked if she’s ready to go to heaven, her reply made everyone laugh while their eyes were filled with tears.

She replied, “HELL YEAH!”.

Stella got the news on May 13th that her grandmother had shown surprising and amazing recovery and even coronavirus couldn’t stop her from living.

She had beaten the virus with all the strength in her.

So, to celebrate defeating the virus, she asked for a nice cold beer that she enjoyed the most.

Her grand daughter described her as “feisty”.

She is 103 years old and her name is Jennie Stejna.

Stejna has two children, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Even at this age, an ice cold beer, always keeps her going.
